Hey everyone, Sheevaun Moran here, and I want to talk to you about perception. Perception is everything and the really interesting thing about what we do as humans is we interact or engage with somebody and have a perception based upon our history, our beliefs, our patterns, what somebody else has told us about another person ... We have so many perceptions.
I just happened to get off of an interview and the person said to me, "I had no idea that you were so deep," and it really struck me as, "Hmm, why wouldn't I be?", and it also struck me as, "Well, you haven't taken the time to get to know me," and it also struck me as, "We're all amazingly deep humans and the only thing that's going to stop us is a perception of who we think that person is, how we think they're acting, or how we have perceived others like them acting, and what we expect from those perceptions."
So what perception are you out there giving so that people can reflect back to you? Because what is going to happen is you're going to put something out there and people are going to reflect that back to you. This is your call to up-level on your perceptions and really go in and say, "You know what? Maybe if I have a blank slate about this person, and say I'm going to find out who they are, and really inquire as to what they're doing in the world or how I can help them to do more in the world."
